An Infamous Addition to Team PokerStars Pro

If you are a high stakes player thinking about a PokerStars download, you should keep in mind that they recently added Isildur1 to Team PokerStars Pro. Isildur1 is a legend for showing up at nosebleed stakes and competing with the best in the world. Pretty much immediately he had wins and losses worth millions of dollars. He can actually boast that he has played in every single one of the 10 largest online poker pots in history. It is understandable that the folks behind the PokerStars marketing code figured they had to have him on their team.
The strange thing regarding Isildur1 is that no one seems to know much about him. The only thing we actually know for sure is that he is Swedish. The download free poker site that sponsors him has said that his identity will be revealed some day soon, but it has not been specified when. It makes sense to surmise that they will milk the question of his real name for a while longer yet.
Even though he is still a mystery, you are still able to earn PokerStars rakeback and challenge Isildur1 at the tables. Say hello to the SuperStar Showdown, a series of 2,500 heads-up hands at stakes no lower than $50/$100. The hands must be either NLHE or PLO, and the players will play each other at four different tables. If someone goes bust the match is over, otherwise the winning player is the one up money once the hands are over.
Do not consider the SuperStar Showdown unless you are serious about online poker rooms. Simply email showdown@pokerstars.com if you would like to be considered for the challenge.
